stringent specifications of AWWA B-100 and meet ANSI standards

FilPro
Filtration Sands are produced from hard ore quartz sands that
are resistant to degradation during handling and back washing.
These dense and durable sands can effectively improve
your filter efficiency, reduce detention time and head
pressures, and optimize flow rates.
FilPro Filtration Sands and Gravels are suitable for
Municipal Wastewater treatment, Drinking Water systems,
Residential and Commercial Well drilling, and Environmental
Monitoring wells. |

| The
angular and sub angular grain shape of FilPro media will
increase the solids holding capacity and improve the overall
efficiency of any filter design.
FilPro sands have the unique ability to absorb, suspend
or settle out floc, collides and bacteria.
Greater void space permits smaller grain sizes without
excessive head loss in pressure or multi-media systems.
FilPro grades are engineered to optimize the
performance of air scour potable water filters and tertiary
filtration systems. FilPro
filtration sands have also been proven effective in iron and
manganese removal in industrial process water filtration and
waste treatment. |

products are available in a variety of package types from our
Mauricetown NJ and Columbia SC facilities.
FilPro filtration sands are available in effective
size.35mm – 2.25 mm and Uniform Co-efficiency ranges of 1.4
to 1.7. Filtration
gravel sizes are available from 1/8” x 1/16” to 1" X 5/8”. |
